There’s a “fire sale” in St. John’s – so to speak.
The City of St. John’s is looking for offers on the former West End Fire Hall on LeMarchant Road. Council hopes the building can be preserved through a new use for the vacant property.
The Bannerman Cafe and Brewery, operating in the former East End Fire Hall on Duckworth Street, is considered by city council as a great example of successful Requests for Proposals for the sale of City-owned property.
The deadline for proposals is Thurs. Nov. 12.
