The Town of Paradise has broken ground on the construction of the Paradise T’Railway Connection.

It’s the last piece of a 200+ kilometre trail network in the region. When it’s done, the trail network will span “coast to coast,” connecting St. John’s harbour all the way to CBS.

The upgrades will include widening, resurfacing, and improved accessibility.

Mayor Dan Bobbett says the trail was usable before, but it was a “challenging ride.” With the new upgrades, he says you’ll even be able to take a stroller on it.

Bobbett says they are “thrilled” to begin the final leg of the project, so residents and visitors alike can enjoy the system and get outdoors in the community.
