Second Cup is brewing up plans to re-open one of its St. John’s locations that was shuttered due to the pandemic.

Weeks after the pandemic was declared, the company gave notice of reduced operations or closures at numerous locations across the country.

In June, both Avalon Mall and Stavanger Drive locations announced they would not be reopening due to the forced closures caused by Snowmageddon and COVID-19.

However, Second Cup confirmed in a Facebook post that work is underway to re-open the Avalon Mall coffee shop. A new page was also created with the message “See you soon.”
