The RNC’s newest recruit is making a big impression after only a few months on the job.
Stella, a Portuguese Water Dog, was recruited by the Constabulary to support both officers and members of the public who require some comfort during a difficult time.
Stella was first introduced in July and while she’s still in training, she’s already visited many parts of the province.
Justice Minister Steve Crocker paid tribute to Stella, her handler, Constable Krista Fagan, and her trainer retired Sergeant Mike Adams in the House of Assembly this week.
