Memorial University is going to start bringing back non-academic staff the week after next.
Starting November 23, staff will be in the office for two days a week with an intended full return during the first half of 2021. Employees have been working remotely since last spring.
The plan applies to all campuses and locations across the province.
In September, Memorial University decided to continue remote course delivery for most students in the winter semester, while opening some on-campus spaces for student study.
There is also a contingency in place to rapidly scale back and transition back to remote work if necessary.
Employees who may be immunocompromised should discuss the situation with their supervisor.
