The president of MUN says the university is well prepared as it gets ready to welcome back more staff beginning next week.
Starting on Monday, non-academic staff will be brought back into the facilities two days a week, with the intention of bringing them back full time in the first half of 2021.
Vianne Timmons says we are living in a “whole new world” right now. She explains that MUN has been doing work on how to effectively address the density of their facilities to make sure the campuses are a safe place for everyone.
In terms of the sanitization of the buildings, Timmons says there is an onus on staff to play their part.
While she says cleaners will be on-site doing their part, it will be the responsibility of everyone to ensure their space is clean.
