Another VOCM tradition will look a little different this year as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to shift the way we celebrate.
This year’s VOCM Happy Tree Concert will be going virtual.
“Happy @ Home” will be live-streamed on the VOCM and VOCM Cares Facebook pages as well as on the ArtsNL Youtube channel as part of the Art in the Time of COVID series.
Performers including Shanneyganock, Bud Davidge, The Ennis Sisters, The Once, Sean McCann, and many more who will be sharing their favourite Christmas tunes from their living rooms to yours on December 13 at 7 p.m.
Greg Smith announced the celebration in support of the Happy Tree Campaign on the VOCM Morning Show.
He says this year has been extra challenging for fundraising efforts. He says if you are not comfortable with dropping an unwrapped gift off at the Avalon Mall, you can make donations online.
