Holyrood RCMP are cautioning drivers about a crash involving a transport truck on the Trans-Canada near Middle Gull Pond.
The highway has been reduced to one lane in both directions between Middle Gull Pond and Brigus Junction.
Officers are urging drivers to use caution in the area and to expect delays.
Drivers are asked to reduce speeds as visibility may be poor.
