Over 37,000 people have been tuning in to the stories of a couple who decided to become the only year-round residents of a resettled Newfoundland town one year ago, but soon those adventures will no longer be put out in the public forum.
Months before the resettlement of Little Bay Islands one year ago, Mike and Georgina Parsons set up a Facebook page—Kintsugi—to document the transition to a life in isolation.
They documented the final days of the town, including the final ferry crossing last new years eve, leaving the couple completely alone on the island.
After over a full year of postings, the couple has decided to permanently shut down the page.
The couple posted the news to their Facebook page, saying the decision comes as the couple has decided to focus on other interests and projects.
The page will shut down on New Year’s Day.
