Labrador Marine is changing vessels on the Strait of Bell Isle crossing for an undetermined amount of time.
The Qajaq W, which will undergo scheduled to leave Bell Island for maintenance in St. John’s on Sunday, will be replaced on the run by the Kamutik W.
The company says there will be no interruption in service during the transition, and it’s unknown how long the Qajaq will take to be serviced.
The winter schedule comes into effect January 8 with one departure each day from both Blanc Sablon and St. Barbe.
