The province’s Chief Medical Officer of Health is showing her appreciation for the public’s cooperation with public health guidelines over the last nine months.

Dr. Janice Fitzgerald says she’s pleased Newfoundlanders and Labradorians have listened to public health guidance and taken the pandemic seriously.

Now, as the first vaccines start rolling out, there is renewed reason to hope, but we do need to hold on a little bit longer urges Fitzgerald.

She expresses hope that we’ll soon be on the other side of the pandemic.
