A man accused in the stabbing death of his step-father made another brief court appearance by video conference from Her Majesty’s Penitentiary this morning.

Brandon Noftall, 26, has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of 41-year-old Robert Noftall in the Southern Shore town of Renews on December 18.

Brandon Noftall is also accused of assaulting a woman several days before the stabbing, as well as breaches of conditions, including one that prohibited him from carrying a knife.

Noftall remains in custody at Her Majesty’s Penitentiary pending his next court appearance on January 25.
