A hockey player from St. John’s is with a new team today.
Forward Clark Bishop, who was in the Carolina Hurricanes organization, has been traded to the Ottawa Senators. He is going straight to Ottawa.
He spent last year with the Charlotte Checkers of the AHL, scoring six goals and adding 13 assists in 53 games.
Bishop has appeared in 25 NHL games, all with the Hurricanes.
