A Labrador man accused of first-degree murder in the shooting death of another man in Natuashish last week made a brief court appearance yesterday.
33-year-old Etienne Jacobish, who remains in custody, was linked to a courtroom in Happy Valley-Goose Bay via teleconference.
The case was called in order to add another name to the list of people that he’s prohibited from having contact with as the case works its way through the courts.
Jacobish was charged January 3rd shortly after police found a man who had been shot, lying on a road in the community. The victim died hours later at a local clinic.
Jacobish is due back in court on February 15th.
