The Teamsters Union is offering a safety reminder to drivers after a pickup reportedly drove through a picket line on Peet Street, coming into contact with one of the union’s nine locked-out members.
Business Agent with Teamsters Local 855, Roger Spracklin says he was notified of the incident this afternoon over the lunch hour.
Spracklin says luckily the side mirror of the truck folded in, preventing any injuries, but the union member was shaken up by the incident.
Spracklin says RNC were called and responded, but the member didn’t want any charges to be laid.
He’s reminding the public that the nine members of the Hickman Chrysler Dodge Jeep sales staff have been locked out and they don’t want to be there. He calls the incident concerning and they want everyone to go home safe at the end of the day.
