The capital city is holding a virtual information session for downtown businesses later this month to talk about this year’s Pedestrian Mall.
Last year’s event was regarded as a resounding success, with many businesses and patrons alike praising the concept.
In the 2021 municipal budget, city council allotted $200,000 towards the project.
The information session is set to take place on February 25 at 2 p.m., during which initial plans for the mall and recommendations received during the public engagement process will be discussed.
Following the meeting, a proposal for this summer’s event will be presented to council in March.
