RCMP have arrested a 27-year-old Deer Lake man following the search of a home in the town earlier this week.

Police seized a quantity of cocaine, illicit cannabis, prescription medication, and cash after executing a search warrant on the home Tuesday evening.

The accused is facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

He was released to appear in Corner Brook provincial court at a later date.
