The NDP has launched a campaign to collect information from people about the barriers they faced during this election.
Alison Coffin says people are frustrated that many of the barriers could have been avoided and clearly this was not the time to call an election.
Premier Andrew Furey has once again defended his choice to hold the election at this time, maintaining that he made the right call to hold it now rather than in the summer or fall.
Further, he believes the election will be fair and democratic, noting assurances given to him by Chief Electoral Officer, Bruce Chaulk.
Coffin says their party has set up a webpage where voters can register their concerns, or suggestions on how to improve the Elections Act.
