Newfoundland and Labrador reported seven new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday.
The province also reported another death but officials say that person, who was over the age of 70 and in the Eastern Health region, was not admitted to hospital due to COVID-19.
They say since COVID-19 was not the primary cause of death, they do not include it in the number of COVID-19-related deaths, which remains at six.
Ten people are in hospital due to the virus, six of whom are in the intensive care unit at the Health Sciences Centre.
There have also been 15 new recoveries in the Eastern Health region.
All seven new cases — three females and four males — are in the Eastern Health region with one under the age of 20, four between the ages of 20 and 39, one in their 40s and one in their 50s.
There are no new or outstanding presumptive positive cases, and there are 262 active cases in the province.
The regional breakdown of active cases includes 258 in Eastern Health, one in Central Health, one in Labrador-Grenfell Health and two in the Western Health region.
