The RNC’s drug unit is reporting the seizure of approximately $1.5-million of illicit drugs in the metro region.
RNC, with the help of the RCMP, made the seizure on January 20.
It included four kilograms of cocaine, five kilograms of MDMA, and 48 pounds of illicit cannabis flower.
The investigation remains active.
Meanwhile, a 20-year-old Ontario man was arrested earlier this month in connection with another recent drug seizure made in the metro region with the help of Postal Inspectors from Canada Post.
Just over one kilogram of cocaine was seized as a result. The accused has been released from custody, with charges pending as that investigation continues.
