Bars and pubs on George Street will be ready to re-open whenever it is safe to do so.
The establishments are currently closed to comply with Alert Level 4 restrictions
Marketing and Communications for the George Street Association, Don-E Coady, says preparations are already in motion.
He says they’re working hard to be ready when people are able to re-join the nightlife.
Coady says that every bar has loyal patrons that they’re trying to stay connected with.
He describes the situation as delicate, as no establishment wants to do jeopardize anyone’s safety during these times.
