A local author is going to make literary waves in Germany next year.
Melissa Barbeau’s critically acclaimed novel, The Luminous Sea will be translated into German.
The book is an IPPY Award winner, the Georgian Bay Reads Winner as well as a finalist for NL Reads, the BMO Winterset Award and the NLBA Fiction Award.
Barbeau is a founding member of the Port Authority Writing Group and has been anthologized in the short story book, Racket: New Writing Made in Newfoundland.
