A 57-year-old woman is facing impaired driving charges following a recent crash on the New Harbour Road in Spaniard’s Bay.

Bay Roberts RCMP were called to the scene around 4:20 Saturday morning.

A vehicle was found in the ditch and the driver was arrested for impaired. Breath samples provided were more than twice the legal limit.

The woman’s vehicle was seized and impounded and her license was suspended.

She’s scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
