A 35-year-old Stephenville woman has been remanded to custody pending a court appearance on a long list of charges stemming from a home invasion in Stephneville Crossing earlier this week.

Shanna Skinner is facing charges of robbery, assault with a weapon, choking, uttering threats, being unlawfully in a dwelling and two counts of breaching a court order.

Skinner was arrested and charged after a resident of Stephenville Crossing reported that a woman had entered her home in the early morning hours of Wednesday, March 17th. The accused allegedly threatened the woman while holding a knife to her throat. A quantity of prescription medicine was reportedly taken in the incident.

Skinner is scheduled to appear in court, Monday, March 22nd.
