Nova Scotia Public Health is distributing COVID tests to Marine Atlantic passengers at Port aux Basques heading to North Sydney.
The tests are self-administered and must be submitted to Nova Scotia officials.
That’s leading to questions from Newfoundland travellers who wonder if self-administered tests carry the same level of accuracy as those administered by a health care professional.
Marine Atlantic says the distribution of testing kits is not their initiative, but that of Nova Scotia Public Health.
