WestJet plans to bring back service to the St. John’s Halifax corridor weeks ahead of schedule.
The flight was to be suspended for three months as of this past weekend, but the airline is going to resume the service May 6 instead of waiting to June 24. There will be six flights per week.
Daily flights between St. John’s and Toronto will resume on the planned date, June 24 with one round trip per day.
WestJet also announced that it is resuming seasonal services at the airport in Deer Lake and Gander.
Deer Lake to Toronto begins on June 26, two times daily, while Gander to Halifax commences June 29, with one flight per day.
WestJet is also resuming service to Quebec City, Charlottetown, Fredericton, and Sydney.
