A local promoter remains “cautiously optimistic” that the Iceberg Alley performance tent could be up and running again late this summer.
John Steele is behind the multi-day and multi-performance series which had to be cancelled when COVID struck last year.
He’s hopeful that if conditions warrant, he’ll be able to host a series of outdoor concerts under the big top later this year.
His aim is to provide musical entertainment that will attract a variety of music lovers.
He says if you’re hosting an event for nine or ten nights, you need to “mix it up” although he admits there are music lovers who will attend every single night.
