The pandemic has had a drastic impact on businesses, but one local company is still pressing on with their expansion.

Pipers has announced that their store on Torbay Road will be shutting its doors and moving to a new location on Aberdeen Avenue that is said to be 50 per cent larger than their current spot.

Chief operating officer, Glen Skinner, says they have been in the Torbay Road location for three decades, but the company is growing and this is the latest step in their expansion plans.

Pipers is also planning to open shop at a new location in Mount Pearl this summer.
