Newfoundland and Labrador reported one new case of COVID-19 on Sunday.
The new case involves a man in the Central Health region in his 40s, and is related to domestic travel.
To that end, Public Health is asking anyone who travelled on Air Canada Flight 8996 from Halifax to St. John’s on Thursday, March 25, to arrange COVID-19 testing.
It’s just the third case reported in the province in the last 10 days.
There are now two active cases in Newfoundland and Labrador — the other being in the Eastern Health region — and no one is in hospital with the virus.
