CEO Tony Stack says the latest medical advice has not changed in regard to K-12 education, therefore there will be no change to activities.
He says thousands of high school students in the province are unable to access in-school learning and getting those students back to class is the main priority.
The NLESD says a change would only come after careful considerations and consultation within school communities.
