Newfoundland and Labrador’s own Alex Newhook has been signed by the Avalanche.
The 20-year-old forward from St. John’s will report to the AHL’s Colorado Eagles after inking a three-year, entry-level contract. This, on the tail of a stellar season at Boston College, with 16 points in 12 games—despite missing the first half of the season due to pandemic protocols.
