The Canadian Home Builders’ Association – Newfoundland and Labrador (CHBA-NL) is the residential construction industry association for the province. Our members include new home builders, renovators, developers, trades, manufacturers, suppliers, lenders, government representatives and other industry related professionals.
The association is the voice of the industry advocating on behalf of members and consumers. CHBA-NL offers support and services to members through fostering learning, encouraging excellence, and is committed to providing affordability and choice in housing for all Newfoundlanders and Labradorians.

CHBA-NL is currently supporting the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Residential Construction Rebate program. CHBA-NL works for both our members and consumers. Making home ownership affordable and accessible to all Canadians is one of our main pillars. As such we work closely with our National organization to address any concerns, such as the rising cost of building materials, which may create a barrier to home ownership and affordability. The Association also works diligently to support our members as they grow the residential construction sector in the province.
