A long-time member of the board with the Newfoundland and Labrador Credit Union has been acclaimed to the position of Board President.
Maureen Singleton, who was first elected to the NLCU’s Board in 1986, is the first woman to assume the role in the credit union’s history.
Singleton succeeds Ray Piercey who chose not to seek re-election as President.
Allan Skanes and Pat Collins were elected to the two remaining executive positions on the Board of Directors as 1st and 2nd Vice President respectively.
