There were no new cases of COVID-19 reported in Newfoundland and Labrador since the last provincial update on April 1. The number updates were put on hold over the Easter weekend.
Four cases remain active in this province; one in Eastern Health, two in Central Health, and one in Western Health.
The Department of Health says 125,230 people have been tested for the virus as of today.
Public Health has issued an advisory for a COVID outbreak at the Diavik Diamond Mine in the Northwest Territories. Any rotational worker who has returned home in the past 14 days must self-isolate and contact 811 for testing.
Officials Conclude Contact Tracing for Case at HSC
Contact tracing is complete following the potential exposure of COVID-19 at the Health Sciences Centre last week.
Eastern Health says less than 20 staff are self-isolating. 50 other patients and close contacts have also been identified and scheduled for COVID testing.
According to Eastern Health, all test results received so far have come back negative and no services at the Health Sciences have been impacted by the incident.
