An 18-year-old man is dead following a boating mishap at Pasadena Beach late last week.
RCMP say the man was one of two people in a canoe that capsized on Deer Lake at Pasadena Beach around 2:30 last Thursday afternoon.
According to police, a local kayaker heard calls for help and paddled towards the men to lend assistance.
One of the men made it safely to shore, but the other man succumbed. Both men were wearing life jackets at the time.
RCMP are continuing their investigation.
