RCMP have released more information on a motorcycle accident that claimed the life of a 41-year-old Burin Peninsula man last week.

RCMP say the driver, who had a learner’s permit, lost control of his machine on Thursday afternoon while passing a vehicle in Burin Bay Arm, striking an embankment on the side of the road.

The victim died at the scene.

The investigation continues.
