In only his second professional hockey game, Alex Newhook of St. John’s set up the first goal less than two minutes in with a pass from behind the net.
A few minutes later, Newhook snapped a shot from the left circle for his first professional goal. He was named first star of the game.
The Colorado Eagles’ next game is next Thursday vs. Tucson.
