For the second night this week, there was a moose on the loose downtown St. John’s causing all kinds of commotion.
A moose was caught on video wandering through the downtown—it also surprised drivers in the LeMarchant Road area.
Cab driver George Santos saw it all unfold just after 8:00. He saw it running past Boston Pizza toward Subway.
Many on social media were notifying drivers and pedestrians; the moose was first seen around the highway into downtown.

On Monday, a resident of Gilbert Street came face to face with one of the gangly creatures on a laneway that connects to Pleasant Street.
