The Royal Canadian Mounted Police are seeking photos promoting safe ATV use across the province.

The RCMP says while there are irresponsible ATV users in the province, most people are doing things right.

They are asking people to submit photos of safe ATV use, which will be used in a social media campaign set to begin over the May 24 long weekend.

The photos must show people who are not under the influence, who are using helmets, seatbelts, and proper lighting, and who are following all applicable laws.

The deadline for submissions is next Wednesday.

Images can be emailed to rcmp.nl.media-medias.tnl.grc@rcmp-grc.gc.ca or sent as a private message through Facebook Messenger to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Newfoundland and Labrador. All submissions must include your name and contact information.
