The camping season may still seem far off according to the cold, wet spring many areas are experiencing, but there’s one good indicator that summer is coming.

The provincial government has launched a new brand website for the provincial park system.

The new ParksNL website, which has a new look and “feel,” is designed to encourage residents of all ages to disconnect from technology and reconnect with the great outdoors.

Starting today, campers are invited to visit and familiarize themselves with the new campsite reservation booking system.

Reservations won’t be accepted for the 2021 camping season until 7 a.m. Wednesday, April 28.
