Newfoundland and Labrador leads the Atlantic Provinces in terms of the number of people who have received one dose of COVID vaccine according to the Atlantic Provinces Economic Council.
Figures released by APEC show that 22 per cent of NL’s population have gotten a single dose which is on par with the Canadian average but ahead of the Atlantic average.
Nova Scotia is sitting at 18 per cent, New Brunswick 16 per cent and PEI 13 per cent.
As for provinces that have received two doses, NL is at 1.9 per cent, the same as New Brunswick but behind PEI (5.9) and Nova Scotia (4.2.)
