VOCM Earns Four Nominations for 2021 RTDNA Canada Awards

VOCM News has secured four nominations for this year’s RTDNA Canada awards for excellence in broadcast journalism.

VOCM has been named a finalist for its continuing coverage of Snowmageddon in January 2020, best radio newscast for an episode of VOCM News at Noon, and for live coverage of Budget Day 2020.

Linda Swain is a finalist in the feature news category for an episode of On Target St. John’s featuring Alan Doyle.

CBC NL earned seven total nominations, while NTV holds one.

The regional winners will be announced in a virtual ceremony on Tuesday, May 18.
