Police have arrested an 18-year-old man who they believe is responsible for two armed robberies earlier this week following an incident earlier today in the capital city
Between 1:30 and 2:00 p.m., the RNC was called to the area of New Pennywell Road and Beothuck Street following reports of a disturbance.
There was a heavy police presence in the area as officers conducted a search.
The suspect is in custody with minor injuries. Police are currently looking in to how those injuries were sustained.
The investigation is ongoing.
