Food First NL has reopened applications for its Community Food Program Support Fund thanks to some newly-secured funding.

The fund was established to help community food programs cope with challenges prompted by the pandemic.

Up to $2,000 in funding is available for organizations based on the island, and up to $3,000 in Labrador.

The group anticipates that it will be able to fund 25 to 35 applications.

Applications are due by noon Newfoundland Time on Monday, May 10.
