A 47-year-old man from Happy Valley-Goose Bay was arrested for drunk driving after blowing sky high following a tip from the public.
On April 30 RCMP received a report of a car driving all over the road, almost causing a head-on collision with another vehicle.
Police quickly located the vehicle and arrested the driver. At the detachment, he provided breath samples that were more than three times the legal limit.
The man was released from custody and is set to appear in court at a later date.
His driver’s licence was suspended and the vehicle was seized and impounded.
