Among the recommendations made by Moya Greene in the Economic Recovery Report is abolishing Nalcor Energy and the Oil and Gas Corp.
Nalcor, which is responsible for the Muskrat Falls project, came under heavy fire as a result of the Muskrat Inquiry led by Commissioner Richard LeBlanc.
It revealed a complete lack of accountability when it came to the commissioning and construction of the hydro project.
Greene says the size and complexity of Nalcor do not reflect the size of the province, and she suggests it be dismantled.
Nalcor is declining comment, saying the recommendations are for government to consider.
