A family of five in Central Newfoundland has been displaced following a fire Sunday evening.
The family’s home in Davidsville, a town about 50 kilometers north of Gander, was destroyed by fire.
Canadian Red Cross volunteers provided them with emergency funds for clothing, food, and other essentials.
The couple and three children ranging in age from 12 to 18 are staying with relatives and friends for the time being. There were no injuries in the fire.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
