The City of Corner Brook has unveiled a brand new city sign to the public.
The colourful new sign, gracing the White House Lawn on West Street, is part of an ongoing tourism awareness campaign in the west coast city.
The project was led by the city’s tourism division with funding support from the provincial and federal governments.
It is just part of a number of beautification initiatives in the Corner Brook downtown which includes new trash and recycling bins, benches, the Civic Square Piano, and the upcoming Crow Gulch Art Project.
This morning we officially uncovered our new CORNER BROOK sign! A big thanks to our Federal, Provincial and Indigenous counterparts for joining in on the big reveal.
Head on down this week, take your own photo and use the hashtag #DTCornerBrook to show it off! pic.twitter.com/XtpYSbTj2t
