Everyone 12 and over who lives in the same household as a rotational worker is also eligible for their COVID vaccine.
By Friday, all residents 30 and older will be able to book their appointments says Dr. Janice Fitzgerald.
On Monday, May 17, all remaining residents 12 and older will be able to book their COVID vaccine appointment.
The rapid vaccine rollout is possible due to increased vaccine shipments. It took four months for the province to administer the first 100,000 doses of vaccine, while the next 100,000 were administered in the following four weeks.
The province expects that all eligible Newfoundlanders and Labradorians will have received their first vaccine by the end of June.
