The RCMP has charged 35-year-old Simon Tremblay of Happy Valley-Goose Bay in connection with a fatal hit and run last summer that claimed the life of 26-year-old Ryan Nuke.
The young man’s body was found on the North West River Road in Sheshatshiu on August 13, 2020.
RCMP have formally charged Tremblay with failing to remain at the scene of a collision involving a death, failing to stop at an accident scene, failing to render assistance to an injured person, and failing to provide his name and address to police.
He’s scheduled to appear in Happy Valley-Goose Bay Provincial Court on June 14th to face the charges.
